Batter Up!!! THE PLAYER by K. Bromberg Review

Oh Hot Damn!!! K. Bromberg has done it again. The Player is the perfect read for smexy hot romance. Broken characters with dark secrets and enough light-hearted moments to make me happy and keep me reading.

Once I had this book in my hands I dove into it with a velocity that had me running all the bases. I was immediately drawn to Easton Wylder, baseball player and legend. He requires some extensive physical therapy after he receives a horrible injury and in turn meets the new sports therapy specialist. He is hesitant at first, not wanting to trust a new someone new but soon the sparks begin to fly but resistance is futile.

Scout is replacing her dad on the team but has to prove herself by making sure that Easton makes it back on the team in perfect shape. She has a lot riding on this opportunity and she knows that she should keep her relationship with Easton on a professional level, but the attraction is too strong and before they slide into first base the sparks are flying.

I adored how they had such great chemistry together, how they have this perfect tension where they know they shouldn't push things further but cannot resist themselves. It is hot, it is playful and it is everything you could want in a read to keep your mind off your every day troubles. I was drawn to this couple and their personal stories that in traditional K. Bromberg style of deep, broken characters kept me wholly engaged and craving more.

I know fans of K. Bromberg will enjoy this new series and ZOMG! that killer ending left me dying and wanting the next installment, NOW. And if you are not familiar with K. Bromberg's writing then this is the perfect book to start your reading addiction.

Baseball has never been sexier in an all-new novel by New York Times Bestselling Author, K. Bromberg.

Easton Wylder is baseball royalty. The game is his life. His passion. His everything.

So, when an injury threatens to end Easton’s season early, the team calls in the renowned physical therapist, Doc Dalton, to oversee his recovery. Except it’s not Doc who greets Easton for his first session, but rather his daughter, Scout. She may be feisty, athletic, defiant, and gorgeous, but Easton is left questioning whether she has what it takes to help him.

Scout Dalton’s out to prove a female can handle the pressure of running the physical therapy regimen of an MLB club. And that proof comes in the form of getting phenom Easton Wylder back on the field. But getting him healthy means being hands-on.

And with a man as irresistible as Easton, being hands-on can only lead to one thing, trouble. Because the more she touches him, the more she wants him, and she can’t want him. Not when it’s her job to side in the club’s best interest if he’s ready to play.

But when sparks fly and fine lines are crossed, can they withstand the heat or is one of them bound to get burned?
