  1. One of my favorite sci-fi stories that explore what it means to be human is Cinder.

  2. It is hard not to pick The Lunar Chronicles. Seeing Cinder deal with judgement just because of what she is and seeing her grow and become stronger because of it is one of the many reason why I adore that series.

    1. I know, I feel like Cinder started us on this amazing path of exploring humanism

  3. The Lunar Chronicles or Frankenstein. For a book that I have not read, definitely V. E. Schwab's "This Savage Song" apparently explores the same idea.

  4. Illuminae? there are a lot of moments in the book where I forget AIDAN is not a HE or a SHE but an IT.
