A Quadruple Whammy of Amazing Authors (Event Recap + GIVEAWAY)

#BadAssAuthorTour (as coined by Kathleen Glasglow) | October 21st, 2016

Randomhouse sent the most amazing panel of authors to us and we fangirled all over them.

SERIOUSLY, how amazing is this panel? Each author started the evening describing their books, which absolutely brought their stories to life. We saw so many books fly off the shelf after the event!

When asked about their writing process, each described their very own form of chaos, including their writing space. Jennifer Niven likes to write in her master-suite office (complete with Funko Pops and lifesize Sam Winchester) while Kathleen Glasglow prefers coffee shops. Brenna Yovanoff described her process as pantser-gone-extreme.

When asked why they write YA, there was a resounding agreement that the young adult years are full of thrills and firsts, something you can't capture in adult fiction.

We also received some sage advice.

You'd never know it was their first night altogether - such great author chemistry!
We have a lot of love for these authors, so you can find reviews for The Replacement, Girl in Pieces, and All the Bright Places (coming soon, Beware the Girl, which has been sitting on Christy's Audible account for far too long).

We have an exciting giveaway today! Enter to win one of FIVE Girl in Pieces swag packs (thank you, Kathleen!) or the ultimate prize pack of three signed ARCs!

  7. Honestly, not entirely sure. Glitter by Aprilynne Pike. Stalking Jack the Ripper. Tales of the Shadowhunter Academy! Mostly because I couldn't keep paying $2.99 per E-story and I love the big books all together like Magnus' tales! :D So many glorious options this Autumn!
