Don’t be fooled.
Don’t make excuses for me.
I am not a good man.
I’ve seen things no one should, done things no one should talk about. Honor and conscience have no place in my life. But I’ve fought and I’ve survived. I’ve had to.

The first time I saw her dancing on that seedy stage in that second rate club, I felt my heart pulse for the first time. Keelyn Foster was too young, too vibrant for this place, and I knew in an instant that I would make her mine. But first I had to climb my way to the top. I had to have something more to offer her.

I’m here now, money is no object and I have no equal. Except for her.
She’s disappeared. But don’t worry, I will find her and claim her. She will be mine.

Like I said, don’t be fooled. I am not the devil in disguise... I’m the one front and center.

“Jay Crownover’s outdone herself with Honor, a provocative rollercoaster of a read with exceptional characters with off-the-charts chemistry. Don’t miss it.”
—J Kenner, New York Times bestselling author

My Thoughts:

A few years ago I became a fan of Jay Crownover when I was introduced to her Marked Men Series and from that point on I could not wait to read whatever she wrote.  Her writing has progressed and matured with each novel and it is very apparent that HONOR is her best piece of work yet. From the first page to the last, Nassir and Key's tantalizing adventure kept me wholly engaged, riveted to every word and begging for more when I was finished.

From having read The Point Series I always knew that Nassir was the one that I needed to know more about. He was mysterious, lethal and devilishly handsome: a wicked combination that made me shiver with breathless anticipation. He would be my demise and my salvation. Right along with Keeley Foster.

Keeley is a unique woman and by far one of my favorite heroine's because she isn't a saint, had to do whatever to survive and she is smart, beautiful and fiercely loyal. She knows what she wants and she is convinced that she doesn't want anything more to do with The Point including Nassir, the very devil that has haunts her dreams. Until Satan comes knocking on her door with an offer that she cannot refuse.

"We'll be business partners and nothing else."

This is when their story begins kicks up it's slow burn of torture. Keeley is hesitant to return and stay at the point but Nassir is convinced that her talent is needed at his new club. She resists until he makes her a promise that intrigues her and makes her heart drop a bit. She then uses everything in her arsenal to make Nassir change his mind. All is fair in love and war so let the battle begin.

Nassir's instincts are spot on and as the club begins to thrive he has Keeley to thank for it's success, but unfortunately it is short lived as the club begins to suffer from several unusual set backs. This brings our couple together and if you think they were frightening before,  now they are an unstoppable force of nature, combustible and ready to slay anything that gets in their way.

"....You doing your thing always turns me on. Power is sexy and it has always looked so effortless and easy on you."

I really enjoyed reading HONOR because it truly showcased Jay Crownover's ever growing talent with her special brand of complex, uniquely flawed characters that bring out all your emotions. Especially when I read about Nassir's raw history. My heart bled for him and it made me want for him to get the girl, the only girl that was meant for him even though she resisted...but not for long. Come on now, it's no surprise. This is a romance novel and let me tell you, the romance between Nassir and Keeley is so damn hot you will want to spank your book for being so naughty.

"It was hot . It was messy. It was animalistic. It was loud. It was a little rough. It was a lot dirty..."

If love is hell then I willingly want to reside there and so will you. Go pre-order then read HONOR as soon as you can because you will not be disappointed. In fact, I want to re-read it and I will bring the marshmallows as I burn.
