Outrun the Moon: A Snap Story

It's no secret that we L O V E D Outrun the Moon by Stacey Lee (in case you've forgotten, here's our review and also our event recap of her launch party [which had MOONCAKES]). A lot of the fun in reading Outrun the Moon was delving deep into a historical natural disaster that forever changed the city we both hold dear in our heart. See, we both live in cities right outside San Francisco and spend a lot of time there.

So, dear blogging friends, we want to take you on a tour of Outrun the Moon landmarks, as told through a Snap Story. These landmarks were cultivated by Stacey Lee herself so we went right on a mission to locate and use them to tell the story!

Without further ado, we present to you the story of the Unsinkable Mercy Wong (fun fact: this was the working title of Outrun the Moon).

Because we loved Outrun the Moon so much, we are giving you a signed copy here. BONUS this copy is the one that went with us to all the sites so it's well traveled :).

  1. I live in Baltimore, MD. I love that we have the Inner Harbor here and Fort McHenry. We have so many others though!

  2. I live in a small town an hour west of Atlanta, Ga. Probably the most important landmark in town is the Train Depot, which changed the dynamics of the town.
