This Friday, February 20th THE DUFF is coming to a theater near you. THE DUFF was a novel written by Kody Keplinger that I read years ago and simply adored it. So, I am very excited that this novel is now hitting the big screen.

#TheDUFF - In Theaters February 20th - A comedic snap shot about what it’s like to be a teen today
Bianca (Mae Whitman) is a content high school senior whose world is shattered when she learns the student body knows her as ‘The DUFF’ (Designated Ugly Fat Friend) to her prettier, more popular friends (Skyler Samuels & Bianca Santos). Now, despite the words of caution from her favorite teacher (Ken Jeong), she puts aside the potential distraction of her crush, Toby (Nick Eversman), and enlists Wesley (Robbie Amell), a slick but charming jock, to help reinvent herself. To save her senior year from turning into a total disaster, Bianca must find the confidence to overthrow the school’s ruthless label maker Madison (Bella Thorne) and remind everyone that no matter what people look or act like, we are all someone’s DUFF.

  1. Hmm...I have not heard of this book before the movie trailers started to come out! I am happy to see how excited you are!

  2. I am so excited for this movie! I just got the book out of the library and I surprisingly liked it. I don't read much contemporary but I like to read books before seeing their movies. I'm most interested to see if Bella Thorne's character will be a good addition or not since that's not in the book. It seems like the mean hot girl is so overdone. I liked the female friendships so I hope that doesn't ruin the dynamic. I would love to win the book and shirt!

  3. Can't wait to see #THEDUFF this coming Friday, February 20th!!
