After spending one life-changing day in Paris with laid-back Dutch actor Willem De Ruiter, sheltered American good girl Allyson “Lulu” Healey discovered her new lover had disappeared without a trace. Just One Day followed Allyson’s quest to reunite with Willem; Just One Year chronicled the pair’s year apart from Willem’s perspective. Now, back together at last, this delectable e-novella reveals the couple’s final chapter.

My Thoughts:

Thank you, thank you Gayle Forman for giving me "Just one Night". My cup of double happiness is overflowing with all the feels. This is the story that I wanted, no... needed to read so that I could finally be at peace with these two amazing characters and their miraculous journeys back to one another.

Just one night is every thing a fan of this series could ever want for and more. Yes there are moments of sheer cheesy bliss and happiness intermixed with a building passion that makes you blush with it's intensity. I loved how their "family" of friends were on hand to witness their joy but I also could not wait for them to finally be alone and I wasn't disappointed....wink wink!

Allyson and Williem's love story have left a stain on my soul and all I want to do is re-read Just One Night over and over again until I can wipe this silly grin off my face upon being satiated. But, I suspect that that will not happen any time soon.

  1. I totally agree it was perfect and so what the fans needed :) wink wink

  2. I read the other two books (Just one day and Just one year) and as all the fans I was left wanting to know more as to how will this story come to an end, and I think that Just One Night made it justice, it didn't ruin the whole thing by prolonging the story, it gave a perfect conclusion to this impossible love tale.

I think everyone who is a fan will enjoy it as immensely as I did :)
