Catch up with Ethan, Lena, and Link as they finally graduate from high school and get ready to leave the small Southern town of Gatlin. But when Dark Caster Ridley makes an appearance, the sometime bad girl can't resist picking a fight with her sometime boyfriend, Link. Angry and rebellious as ever, Ridley ends up alone in New York City and becomes entangled in the dangerous underground Caster club scene, where the stakes are high and losers pay the ultimate price.

Where's a Linkubus when you need him?

My Thoughts:

When I discovered my favorite writing duo was getting together again I was beyond excited for I adore their BEAUTIFUL CREATURES series and I am happy to say that they did not disappoint with novella,  DANGEROUS DREAM.

DANGEROUS DREAM begins right at Ethan, Lena and Link's graduation a happy occasion to kick off their last summer together, then Ridley walks in and all bets are off. Soon she and Link (her sometimes boyfriend) begin fighting and she runs away only to find herself in trouble by the summer's end.

This novella showcases Ridley at her best at being bad, bad, bad. It is obvious that she cares for Link but she refuses to acknowledge that fact and what ensues is a summer of running around from guy to guy like they are disposable Kleenex, but the harder she tries to ignore her feelings the worse she feels until she lands in NYC and that is when things begin to get really interesting. Let's just say that this time Ridley has bit off more than she can chew and she will have to use all her charms to come out on top and even then it may not be enough.

Fans of the BEAUTIFUL CREATURES series will enjoy this trip back to Gatlin. It showcases two of my favorite characters and introduces a new adventure that only Ridley and Link can take us on and I cannot wait to see where they go next.
