About the Book:

Okay, maybe that was a bit melodramatic, but I’m sorry, I’m feeling a bit melodramatic at the moment.

Here’s the deal. My name is Brooklyn Pierce, I’m fifteen years old, and I am decisionally challenged. Seriously, I can’t remember the last good decision I made. I can remember plenty of crappy ones though. Including that party I threw when my parents were out of town that accidentally burned down a model home. Yeah, not my finest moment, for sure.

But see, that’s why I started a blog. To enlist readers to make my decisions for me. That’s right. I gave up. Threw in the towel. I let someone else be the one to decide which book I read for English. Or whether or not I accepted an invitation to join the debate team from that cute-in-a-dorky-sort-of-way guy who gave me the Heimlich Maneuver in the cafeteria. (Note to self: Chew the melon before swallowing it.) I even let them decide who I dated!

Well, it turns out there are some things in life you simply can’t choose or have chosen for you—like who you fall in love with. And now everything’s more screwed up than ever.

But don’t take my word for it, read the book and decide for yourself. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll scream in frustration. Or maybe that’s just me. After all, it’s my life.

  1. No, I wouldn't. I need to be in control of my life. Even if that means making mistakes. It adds character.

  2. No, I don't think I would. I am a control freak. :)

  3. Maybe some decisions like what I should read next or what clothes to wear but not any of the big ones.

  4. I know that I would have a hard time with someone else making decisions for me. I could probably work with someone, making decisions equally. I'm like CrystalGB (above) who said she is a control freak--ME TOO!! :)

  5. there is no way that I am letting someone else make my decision. it might be east at first but then it would be bad....

  6. Ha no. I think I'm too much of a control freak to hand over the reins to someone else. I'd be completely freaked out.

  7. I am super bad at making decisions. I go to the ice cream shop and I'm thinking chocolate sounds good and then we go inside and I'm like "no one told me there was more than one flavor. What am I going to do?!?!??!!?" Important life decisions aren't really any better either. When faced with the decision of whether I should switch my major or not, I just kept begging my fiance to choose for me.
In short (not really) yes, I would totally set up a blog for people to make all my decisions for me. I'm a little sad I didn't think of it before I heard of this book :P

  8. I'm indecisive but no, I wouldn't. Please count me in if it'd open internationally!
