Today I had the pleasure going to A Great Good Place for Books and seeing Gayle Forman and listen to her read from Where She Went. It was a perfect event filled with little cupcakes, great bay area authors and book lovers.

Where She Went display
Gayle with my friend Tricia Gayle with Alicia from Shooting Stars Mag
Bay Area YA author awesomeness with Daisy Whitney, Cheryl Renee Herbsman, Nina LaCour, Gayle Forman and Jandy nelson

  1. You are so lucky! I hope you had fun :) I hope Gayle comes to my neck of the woods so I can meet her (and stand shocked by her presence).

We would love to see what you have to say :)

“Reading is everything. Reading makes me feel like I've accomplished something, learned something, become a better person. Reading makes me smarter. Reading gives me something to talk about later on. Reading is the unbelievably healthy way my attention deficit disorder medicates itself. Reading is escape, and the opposite of escape; it's a way to make contact with reality after a day of making things up, and it's a way of making contact with someone else's imagination after a day that's all too real. Reading is grist. Reading is bliss.”
