Jill over at Breaking the Spine started this and I believe that it's awesome" This blog post is to alert those that visit about "the" book that we cannot wait to get our hands on.

OK!! talk about wicked cool covers that stick in your membrane and BURN BRIGHT is a perfect example. Then I read the synopsis and I was hooked. I so cannot wait to get my hands on this novel and devour it.

  2. This is so trippy - because I JUST bought one of her books for a friend's birthday, (Nylon Angel). And you hardly ever see Marianne De Pierres' name mentioned anywwhere (Aussie Writer)....AND I just received a response from her about some of her books.....And I also just ordered a book from Abe books, one of her space opera books, and another book by her only available from Australia, called Sharp Shooter (written under her pen name Marianne Delacourt). I think there is another one or two YA books under the Delacourt name. I have to look to be sure, but I've had her trilogy (Starting with Nylon Angel) on my mind for a long time. It's a good book, you should check it out. There's Nylon Angel, Code Noir and Crash Deluxe - futuristic urban fantasy, kind of cyper punk set in Australia. I loved the trilogy.

    Well - now I can't find the books I was thinking about (the ya books) so maybe Burn Bright is her first YA book. (?)
