REVIEW YYY
I am a big fan of Rachel Vincent. I adore her were-cat series and was very excited that she now has a YA series also. MY SOUL TO SAVE, is the second installment to her Soul Screamer series dealing with bein sidhe's and their wicked awesome powers.

MY SOUL TO SAVE picks up shortly after MY SOUL TO TAKE with Kaylee and Nash going to a concert when a suddenly a famous singer dies and Kaylee does not feel the need to scream her head of, which is truly odd for that is what she is all about. Turns out the singer does not have a soul for she bargained it away for fame and fortune. Soon Kaylee, Nash and Todd find themselves in the center of a twisted system involving demons that truly creeps me out and take a second look into the cookie cutter teen pop industry. Will Kaylee be able to save a certain pop star from certain doom? or will she perish along with the rest of them? You gotta read it to find out :)

MY SOUL TO SAVE has plot twists and turns that keep you engaged and entertained, but I felt that it did not quite hit the mark this time. Although I adored the character's from it's predessor I could not seem to feel the same emotions for them this time. I also did not find the character Addison, worth all the trouble that they were working so hard to save. I do find the the world building in this series fascinating and unique and the Netherworld is written so well and it makes my skin crawl. It just proves how fantastic a writer Rachel Vincent truly is.

MY SOUL TO SAVE is a must read for those that have enjoyed MY SOUL TO TAKE and If you have not then you should give it a try. This series is unique and I am eager for the next installment of MY SOUL TO KEEP.

“Reading is everything. Reading makes me feel like I've accomplished something, learned something, become a better person. Reading makes me smarter. Reading gives me something to talk about later on. Reading is the unbelievably healthy way my attention deficit disorder medicates itself. Reading is escape, and the opposite of escape; it's a way to make contact with reality after a day of making things up, and it's a way of making contact with someone else's imagination after a day that's all too real. Reading is grist. Reading is bliss.”
