Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
(1) Grab your current read
(2) Open to a random page
(3) Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
(4) BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!
(5) Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

OK!!! I CANNOT BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW MUCH I AM LOVIN' THIS BOOK. IT IS TOTALLY ROCKIN' MY SOCKS

THE DEVIL'S KISS BY SARWAT CHADDA
page 254

"You want my soul?"

The devil laughed but shook his head. He touched the lock, and the apartment door swung open. He pointed up the stairs.

"I want you to kill your father," he said

This book is amazing and it's author has a great website that you can see HERE. He is attending BEA this year and I so wish that I could be there to meet him.

“Reading is everything. Reading makes me feel like I've accomplished something, learned something, become a better person. Reading makes me smarter. Reading gives me something to talk about later on. Reading is the unbelievably healthy way my attention deficit disorder medicates itself. Reading is escape, and the opposite of escape; it's a way to make contact with reality after a day of making things up, and it's a way of making contact with someone else's imagination after a day that's all too real. Reading is grist. Reading is bliss.”
