Cassandra Clare has just announced her City of Glass book tour (YEAY). She will be touring in some cities with Lisa McMann author of Fade and Wake. I am very excited about going to one of the events and I know that authors love it when their fans come out to see them, so please come out if you can. I have also included the link to Cassandra's blog because she has a special post card offer to those that are attending her book signings.

I'm so bummed she's not coming anywhere near Atlanta. I really want the postcard, among other more obvious things.

I have to travel 6 hours by car to see her. I had hope she would come to my area, but not this year. My friend and I are making a road trip :)

“Reading is everything. Reading makes me feel like I've accomplished something, learned something, become a better person. Reading makes me smarter. Reading gives me something to talk about later on. Reading is the unbelievably healthy way my attention deficit disorder medicates itself. Reading is escape, and the opposite of escape; it's a way to make contact with reality after a day of making things up, and it's a way of making contact with someone else's imagination after a day that's all too real. Reading is grist. Reading is bliss.”
